Requirements and compatibility

Built for macOS 13 or later, on Intel and Apple silicon. The tested device and macOS list will be published before release. Use a supported Magic Mouse over Bluetooth or a trackpad. Pinch and middle-drag behavior depend on the receiving app.

Install the direct edition

Find Settings when the menu icon is hidden

Open MidClick again from Applications. It reopens Settings; it does not create another running copy. General settings control the menu icon and launch at login.

A gesture is not responding

Do not disable Gatekeeper or System Integrity Protection. If macOS rejects a download, stop and contact support.

Licenses and changing Macs

Paid activation and server-side seat transfer are not ready in the current development build. The planned paid license covers three Macs; a production license will be delivered after purchase.

Offline receipts last up to 30 days. Reconnect to refresh an expired receipt. Imported receipts also expire and may need replacement.

Updates and removing the app

Use Check for Updates in the menu or Settings. Quit MidClick before moving it from Applications to Trash. Disable launch at login first if enabled. Ordinary removal should preserve settings and license records; ask support before deleting that data.

Send useful information

Include the app version, macOS version, Mac processor, mouse/trackpad model, affected app and gesture, and what happened. A crash report can be placed in an email draft from MidClick after a crash. Review it before sending. Never send your full license key in a public post.

Customer support will open with the public release. See the support guide for installation help.
